My Bio

Frequently bored and looking for new concepts for my photography, but rarely able to afford the wardrobe and props to bring my visions to life. Love the outdoors and nature, and usually incorporate them into my photography, either by shooting things like wildlife and lightning, or by creating my art photos outside with models under natural light with fill flash. Started out photographing arachnids for a website around 2000 and have grown as a photographer to shoot many different genres as I've gotten better and better cameras and lighting. Tried doing couples and event photography for a few years, learned to hate doing it and now I only break out the cameras when I have something artistic to create or want to capture nature.

Bought a house in Missouri and moved here early this December. Love it so far. Enjoyed the first snowfall I've seen in years. Really looking forward to getting settled in, opening my in home photo studio and getting out in the field to do some wildlife photography once the weather warms this spring! =)

Doing pretty well since we moved to the Northern part of California, lots of different kinds of birds and animals to photograph up here in the country as opposed to the way things are in Central Cali. Cleaner air, cleaner water, more trees, just a great environment. Hoping to find some models in the area to do more indoor shooting soon. Ordered a studio lighting kit and already have a 10x20 backdrop, and might start shooting sittings at a relatives house, so that's good. Still hoping to make enough money doing sitting eventually to upgrade to a better camera and REALLY want to upgrade my glass!! If you live around Redding, Chico, or anyplac
